Books Read this Week: Great by Choice & Tell Your Time

Great by Choice by Jim Collins & Morten Hansen is a must read for all business leaders. It proves their theory that businesses can succeed in times of choas if they posses these 3 qualities: fanatic discipline, empirical creativity & productive paranoia. It also discusses the concept of luck, which has never been researched before. All of the concepts are different from those found in Good to Great. If you love business, you will love this book!  Purchase the book Here!

Tell Your Time by Amy Lynn Andrews

Tell Your Time by Amy Lynn Andrews is a short 30-page book you should make time for. It is a workbook to help you better manage your time. Amy gives you examples and steps by step instructions to allow you to take complete control of your life. This book is only available as an ebook. Download it here!

Currently Reading: ProBlogger, The Raggamuffin Gospel, Pick Another Check out Lane, Honey. View all the books I plan to read by the end of 2011.

My Weekly Goals

Magazine Recipe Book

Magazine Recipe Book

We all love to receive magazines, but after you read them they usually end up laying around. I love this idea to create your own recipe book with all of your cooking magazines.

I receive Everyday with Rachael Ray & Taste of Home Magazines. As I read them, I tear out all my favorite recipes. The leftover magazine goes directly into the trash and the tore out recipes go into my custom recipe book!

Books Read this Week: EntreLeadership, Poke the Box, Erasing Hell

Entreleadership by Dave Ramsey is a great handbook for businesses. Specifically businesses that sell products and have employees. It covers everything from decision making, marketing, hiring & firing, selling skills, inspiring employees, delegating, and more. Most of the topics covered offered are basic common sense, however, Ramsey offers some great financial advance which he is best known for. Overall this book is easy to understand and would be easy to put into practice.

I listened to this book as an audiobook on my iphone. It is a great way to get “reading” done while cleaning, driving, and getting ready in the morning. It is available to download at Barnes & Noble or at itunes…
